Kindergarten & Universal Transitional Kindergarten Age Requirements for Fall 2026
For the 2026-2027 school year, in accordance with the state of California, children are eligible for TK if they turn 4 on or before September 1, 2026. Students who turn 5 on or before September 1, 2026 will attend Kindergarten.
Notes:

Placement for incoming elementary students is dependent upon spaces being available at each elementary school, and we cannot guarantee a student will be placed at their assigned school.

All Oak Park residents have guaranteed enrollment within Oak Park Unified School District.
